Does my security system work with Google Assistant?
Sorry, the NVR system cannot work with Google Assistant.
What is the difference if I buy cameras and NVR separately instead of buying a whole system?
The cameras in the kit cannot work alone. They have to work with the Reolink NVR. If you buy standalone cameras and the NVR separately, the cameras can work alone.
How long does the security camera system store video footage?
The length of time to store video footage is closely related to the video code rate.
As for RLK12-800WB4, the default bit rate of its cameras is 4096 kbps. Proximately, with the 4 cameras all working, this security system can store video footage for 12 days to its pre-installed 2TB HDD.

If you want to keep longer video storage, you can expand the NVR's storage capacity.
Does the NVR support the person/vehicle/animal detection of my Reolink cameras?
Yes, the NVR in RLK12-800WB4 supports the cameras' smart person/vehicle/animal detection.
How can I preview or playback the video?
Method 1: Connect the NVR to a monitor or TV for preview or playback.
Method 2: Download FREE Reolink APP or Client, add the NVR to the APP or Client, configure the settings, and then you can preview or playback the videos.
Can I connect Reolink NVR to one or more displayers?

You can connect a maximum of two displayers with the NVR via HDMI or VGA (see the diagram below).

Can I connect my previously purchased Reolink PoE camera to the WiFi NVR?
Yes, PoE cameras can work with the WiFi NVR. But you need to first power on the PoE camera with a PoE injector, PoE switch, or power adapter, and connect it to the NVR or to the same network as the NVR.
Can I turn off the spotlights?
Yes, you can turn off the spotlights manually.
By default, the camera's spotlights are motion activated: it will turn on automatically when a motion is detected.
You can turn them off or adjust the brightness to your liking.
Please note that with the spotlights on you can enjoy clear color night vision, but if the spotlights are turned off, you will only see black and white images at night.
What are the maximum transmission distances between the NVR and the cameras, as well as between the NVR and the router?
The distance between the NVR and the router primarily depends on the length of the Ethernet cable used. In optimal conditions, the distance between the NVR and the cameras can reach up to 120 meters.
Can I switch between 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi networks?
Yes, our latest hardware version of Wi-Fi NVR supports manual switching between 2.4GHz and 5GHznetwork.
